Sean La Fontaine: Business Development Manager
Sean has been with Kernow since our infancy and has been a key part of our growth, development and success. Never too far from his EH roots, Sean works closely with new and prospective clients helping them understand workloads and legislative requirements around Environmental Health and Immunisation.
His experience is second-to-no-one and this comes to the fore in the continued success of clients transitioning across to Kernow.

Jackie Foley: People & Culture Manager
Jackie joined Kernow after a long career as a lawyer in Employment Relations. Since 2015, Jackie has been responsible for driving leadership and culture initiatives across the 100+ staff employed by Kernow. The establishment of employee recognition programs, annual personal development plans (for all staff!), implementing wellbeing days as well as the Kernow Kulture Krew.
Jackie is responsible for our values-based approach to recruitment and focusses on making Kernow "a great place to work." Jackie is also critical in delivering transitions to Kernow for new clients.

Eliza Nelson: People & Culture Assistant
Eliza started life at Kernow as a Service Support Officer at our Casey team and is now an important cog in our recruitment and retention programs. Working alongside Jackie as well as the other leaders within Kernow, Eliza is the key contact for solving problems and generating fun.
Eliza helps coordinate and deliver the majority of the P&C programs - from Mid Year Events, Team Events, Staff Wellbeing Days, Christmas Parties, Celebration Events, Extended Leadership Days and every other culture building activity we undertake to make Kernow awesome.

Pete Wright: Partnerships Manager
Pete joined Kernow five (5) years ago after a long and distinguished career as an EH Manager. His drive to join Kernow was borne by watching our approach to "doing things differently" and having a passion for everything Environmental Health.
Pete is responsible for leading our many different programs and many different discussions with many different Councils across Australia. Partnerships are the bedrock for Kernow and our clients - strong, trusting and reliable relationships underpin our success.

Jade Harris: Immunisation Manager
Jade started at Kernow as a graduate EHP and in her 16 years as a key member of our family helped establish our Mitchell, then moved across as the TL For Brimbank and now is the Manager for Kernow's entire Immunisation service.
We’ve seen Jade grow as a person, EHP and Mother in her time at Kernow. There’s been no greater growth in Jade than as an exceptional leader of people and a learned Environmental Health and Immunisation professional.
As you can see, Jade has worn many hats at Kernow and is a shining example of a successul career progression.

Kathy Nichols: Operations Manager
Kathy joined the Casey team in 2006 after working as a Microbiologist. In that time, she has worked as a Senior EHP and has been Kernow's Operations Manager since 2017. Kathy is responsible for overseeing the operations of all Kernow sites - a BIG job.
Kathy strives towards “best practice” with Kernow staff and our culture.
Kathy's involvement in developing and implementing a variety of projects and initiatives across all Kernow sites allows her to collaborate with different teams. Her extensive knowledge and experience and helps guide EHO’s to be the best in the industry.

Dane Gade: Team Leader, Northern Region
Dane is our newest Team Leader, taking over the role in late 2022.
Dane started with us from humble beginnings – an inexperienced labourer working on the chicken farm – to being one of our prized EHO’s, builder of the Kernow culture, and an absolutely fabulous role model. His passion for Environmental Health is second to none and his knowledge is equally matched.

Rob Rosa: Team Leader, Casey
Rob joined Kernow at day-one and has been a loyal and effervecent leader throughout. His passion for supporting the client and his staff is amazing. Rob has extensive knowledge across Environmental Health and this is reflected in the positive feedback all new EHPs receive when they join the Casey family.
Rob has remained and Kernow because he "remains challenged, excited by the company, and loves being around a group that genuinely care for each other."
Rob is a much loved leader by all Kernow staff and clients alike. He’s a very popular member of the Kernow family.

Rebecca Wisdom: Immunisation Nurse Coordinator
Bec started life at Kernow as a Casual Nurse Immuniser but jumped at the opportunity when we needed a leader for our 40+ Immunisation nurses spread across Victoria. Bec loves the opportunity to work at a place where everyday something is new.
Bec loves the support she receives from her colleagues and broader the Leadership team. Bec believes the "work-life balance approach Kernow has to providing services goes above the norm and facilitates a much happier workplace."

Rupa Gordon: EHP Brimbank
Rupa has embraced being a member of the Kernow family since coming across from Fiji in 2009. She has played a key role in working with regional based clients (all across Victoria), delivering numerous projects for Kernow and our clients, as well as being a leader in the training and development space for our staff.
Rupa is regularly out-and-about with her team members - solving problems and giving best practice guidance to make Kernow EHPs the very best they can be.
Rupa has been a role model for all Kernow staff and is exemplarary is her leadership of the Brimbank team.

Helen Powell: Senior EHP Casey
As an EHP of over 30 years experience, Kernow has been Helen's home for the past 10 years and is no place she'd rather be. Working with people who are open to new ideas and who foster an environment of contribution and involvement in the planning of not only our day to day work but also in the growth of the business is what keeps Helen motivated.
Helen has worked across many areas of the business but is now leading a great group of young and experienced EHPs at Casey.

Megan Black: Service Support, Cardinia
As a Service Support Officer, Megs is the central cog to running a very successful Cardinia team. She is responsible for overseeing all adminsitrative deliverables of both EH and Immunisation services. Further to this, Megs helps drive team culture activities and it the constant support for all staff (old and new).
Megs loves that Kernow really care about their people and she is included in various projects and feels her input is valued.
Megs is a well-loved member of the Kernow family and is her contribtuion to all things Environmental Health and Immunisation is truly valued.

Chloe Sewell, EHP ... Everywhere!
Chloe has been such a fantastic addition to the Kernow family since joining us a graduate. Chloe has embraced every opportunity presented to her and has climbed a steep learning curve in the process by working across four (4) different clients.
Being involved and engaged in all aspects of Kernow life has meant Chloe has fast become an incredibly valuable asset to our Kernow family.
Chloe is a shining example of hard work and enthusiasm.

Abbey Garnsey, EHP Mitchell
Abbey came to us as Nutritionist with a Bachelor of Human Nutrition from Latrobe University in 2018. She has a passion for health, nutrition and fitness with 4 years of work in a hospital setting along with 6 years of work in customer service.
Having a father and uncle in the Environmental Health world Abbey decided to take on a new challenge and is in the final weeks of her Graduate Diploma in Environmental Heath. Abbey completed her placement with us at the Mitchell Shire and did such a fantastic job she continued working with us!

Kayla Wilson, EHP Casey
Humble beginnings as a valuable Service Support Officer, Kayla quickly transitioned into a Technician role then onto the Graduate Diploma of Enviornmental Health at Swinburne. Kayla underlines what hard work, a willingness to learn and grasping your opportunities with both hands can do for your career.
Kayla has established herself as a knowledge and reliable leader within our Casey family - despite being a recent graduate! Kayla is a great Kernow person and valued by everyone.

Shaun Baigent, EHP Bass Coast
Shaun joined Kernow as a mature aged Environemental Health Graduate. Shaun's prior work experience included teaching roles in the Vocational College sector and management of large factories.
Kernow's Boost, Mentoring and Rad Grad Programs have all been embraced by Shaun and as a Bass Coast local, his larger than life personality and commitment to learning has fast tracked his development as an EHO and ensured positive relationships with the community.
